History
We are Jenco Fabrications and we’ve been designing and manufacturing steel products for almost five decades. We were originally established as Royco International in 1975 with the purpose of manufacturing enclosures for the market leading manufacturers of power generation gensets while providing services of general engineering and sheet metal fabrication. We later created ENCO in the late 1980s to offer acoustic solutions directly to end customers.
After being purchased by Cummins Engine Co. in the early 2000s and having our manufacturing capabilities moved offshore, we started back up as Quality Acoustics and moved into a purpose-built factory in Minto along with many of the remaining management, tradesmen and apprentices. This enabled us to improve our manufacturing workflows to gain greater proficiency in the creation of our products.
What We Do
Since our inception, we have continuously provided not only quality acoustic solutions but a wide variety of engineering and sheet metal fabrication services as well. We have won a number of Australian Design Awards for innovation, design effectiveness, performance, safety, quality, durability, ergonomics and consumer benefit with our acoustic solutions.
Our customers are constantly challenging us in both design and manufacturing areas, providing us with the edge and reputation to build and maintain clients over a wide range of industries within the manufacturing, construction and mining industries; water, electricity and gas utilities; law enforcement; entertainment venues; federal, state and local government authorities; universities, primary schools, secondary and TAFE colleges; and many more.
We are currently continuing to provide the full engineering service including design, drafting and manufacture. Our current workflows are designed for making highly customised solutions with multiple iterations of design and revision before being manufactured by our expert tradesmen. This workflow coupled with decades of experience has given us skills and experience to tackle a larger variety of problems.
What Next
As such, we have decided to start working under the Jenco Fabrications name to represent our increased repertoire in our design and manufacturing capabilities and our goals of expanding into tackling a larger variety of projects. We wish to continue providing our clients with quality, customised solutions over a wider range of purposes such as structural steel fabrications without being pinned down to exclusively acoustic solutions.
